allieanne answered your question: Baby Hats!
Can I have one when I have a baby? :)
Of course you can! You can even pick the colors and stuff! :)
(Weren’t we just talking about me babysitting too? I’m going to be the coolest unrelated aunt ever)

Baby Hats!
Definitely one of my favorite things to crochet: baby hats! They are nearly instant gratification, and as I don’t have any babies, they leave my house pretty fast. Set aside in the hustle and bustle of Christmas crafting, I’ve come back to making them, as I have an order to fill before February starts (just one hat, though). But, a good friend of mine is having a boy in March, and said...

It’s Tuesday again! And I talk about another tea that I drink here. I also share a photo of my newly finished owl hat, if you’d like to take a look. I’ve been thinking about making one, after seeing a picture on Pinterest and then seeing a photo of a friend’s daughter in one. So I bit the bullet, and whipped one out in a day. I’ll confess, I did consult a pattern...

Sadly, I had no finished projects to show off today, but I did complain about school, kinda. Read about it.

So I blog about drinking tea sometimes…. Today it was Lady Grey. Read about it. You know you want to.

Hooking and Booking
It’s been a month of frantic crocheting, working almost feverishly to finish projects in time for Christmas. Thankfully, I finished all the crochet projects (I still have a few knitting projects that are always on my needles…) and have taken some time to work on a few long term projects- several blankets of Lion Brand Homespun, and a little ripple blanket with yarn I dyed myself....

I'm almost done with the semester.
And I’m compiling a list of things to do.
Crocheting and knitting like crazy are always givens, because I LOVE TO KNIT AND CROCHET. I also plan on watching A Walk To Remember again, because it is such a lovely movie. And I want to watch Beauty and the Beast. And Love Actually is supposed to be coming in from another library. AND I have Gettysburg and Saving Private Ryan on permanent loan...

I finished some projects today!!! See them all here! I’m having fun making all these things for other people, but I’ll be glad when I have a bit more time to work on a few things for me and for gifts. :)

I’m trying to get my flickr pictures to load onto my blog. Here is a success. Also, I dyed more yarn a few days ago. There’s a picture up there of that too. As soon as I have a picture of the finished item that used the yarn, I’ll post it too.
This is a boring post. Well, I feel boring today, so sorry. And by boring, I mean, I actually did homework, which is unusual. But...
1 hat done!
And 2 more to go for the order from my cousins. I’ve been having fun working with different color combinations and hope to have a couple extra dinos made up to put on my page. And I need to get a few more headbands made, as I have a few different flower designs that I want to use.
And then on to Christmas presents!

I dyed some yarn samples today. View my blog post here. It was fun, testing out my different colors and seeing how they reacted with the base yarn, which was blue. I have a whole sweater of the yarn, and am trying to decide how to use it. Plus I have the same yarn from the same type of sweater, etc, that I haven’t used up yet. Maybe a baby blanket? I’ve done that with one of my...

Is it not really green and blue? Because that’s what it looked like, hence the dubbing it heritage wreath.
Oh, it is definitely green and blue, but it’s all out of wool, so I would be able to dye the pieces different colors, but I didn’t. So it’s very much a Heritage wreath
soverymediaaddicted replied to your photo: My room is dark, but this is a wreath I’m working…
Heritage wreath!
Yeah, I was going to dye it, but I’ve already tied everything, and I dont feel like doing it again.

Watching Thor with my sister...
…Turns into watching Thor with my sister, my mom and my brother who was all like “You’re watching Thor?! I’m just going to sit on the couch between you two!” He then proceeded to make comments throughout the rest of the movie like “He’s a gentleman, he wouldn’t do that.” to “She totally just stuck her tongue in his mouth!” and...

HATS!
I’ve thought about creating a pattern for my hats…. Except I wing them nearly every time. I have a lot of crochet theory in my head, which makes a lot of patterns, at least ones in the round, fairly easy to me. As long as I have a stitch marker, I’m good.
So, no dinosaur hat pattern, sorry :(
I just sold 7 more of them a few hours ago, which makes me a very happy camper!...

Two things about this:
First, as someone reblogged and asked/mentioned, Walter Reed Army Medical Center does not actually exist anymore. It is now Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. I don’t think it will totally bog down the system, which leads me to point #2

It's Over.
The build-up of anticipation. The slight nervousness before boarding. A long lay-over. Finally arriving. Hanging out with family- beer and cheese&crackers. Setting up for a wedding. Trying not to cry during said wedding. Realizing that you are now legal to drink. Having a fun time with family. Laughing over impromptu games of football in the middle of the road. Old family photos. Happiness....

I love mornings when I pull out my Bible, and I...
This morning is was Philippians 4. You may say, Mary, haven’t you read that before? My reply will, of course, be yes. But today it meant something more to me.
v. 4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice.
v. 6 Have no anxiety about anything…
v. 7 and the peace of God which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Rejoice,...
